Harmon Things Inc. is a family owned business with Bruce Harmon at the helm (literally and figuratively). An avid sailor, who can be seen guiding his black and white Lateen, dubbed “The Couch”, around Dana Point harbor most days. With over 35 years of experience in the field of woodworking, starting in 1972 with the first cabinet shop in Laguna Beach, California to his present location in the Los Molinos district of San Clemente, California, everything Bruce creates is made with intent.

He has passed these same skills down to his sons, Kellen and Ernie, and hopes to one day pass his passion for this craft on to his grandson, Waylan, the apple of his eye. The lovely Shelley, Bruce’s wife of 34 years, possesses an eye for uncovering beauty in nature and is a part of the process from start to finish.

If you decide to make one of these pieces your own, you will find yourself with an original, one of a kind work of art. Not to be left on a shelf to gather dust, but to be cherished and enjoyed as often as possible. Each piece is made with love and a hope that it will be passed down through the generations.
